BALKANI Wildlife Society, Public Relations Specialist
Miroslava Popova is responsible for the communication of the BALKANI Wildlife Society and Nature Guardians initiative to the media and the NGO supporters. Her mission is to be the voice of local communities and activists who seek their rights and fight for nature conservation. She has organized public events which aim to create space for stakeholders to connect, discuss, and work together. As a volunteer, she worked for the conservation of Sharr Mountain National Park in the Republic of Kosovo. One of the initiatives to promote the biodiversity and value of this protected area includes the organization of the mountain festival BreFest, with a focus on the protection of rivers from the construction of small hydropower plants.
